Scott Roby, a senior at Foothill High School, has been appointed student member of the Tustin Unified School District Board of Education. He will serve on the board until June, 1995.
Roby was selected by a panel of school board members, high school principals, students and a school district administrator. The board approved his selection.
Roby will be a non-voting member of the board, but could relay information and suggestions on matters affecting students, officials said.
J. Scott Heilson, also a senior at Foothill High School, was chosen as an alternate.
Scott Sveslosky served as the district’s first student board member last school year.
