AUTOMOBILES : Dealer Adds Isuzu to Its Costa Mesa Stable; Another Moves to a New Site

Orange County has lost more than a dozen new car dealerships in recent years, but hope springs eternal in the souls of those who sell automobiles.
Costa Mesa-based Nabers Automotive Group, which runs Nabers Cadillac and Buick, has opened Nabers Isuzu four blocks farther north on Harbor Boulevard, just off the San Diego Freeway.
The new lot opened about a month ago after Nabers acquired the Isuzu franchise that Theodore Robins Ford was abandoning in order to make room for its expanded Ford truck center.
And over in Garden Grove there’s an old face in a new place, as Patterson Dodge has moved from its former Garden Grove Boulevard facility to the Garden Grove Freeway auto center location vacated more than a year ago by a Mitsubishi franchise.
