GARDEN GROVE : Candidates’ Forums Scheduled in October

The City Council is co-sponsoring, with the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce, two forums for candidates running in the Nov. 8 local election.
The forum for the candidates for mayor and the council will be held Oct. 5 in Room B of the Community Meeting Center at 11300 Stanford Ave. The five mayoral candidates will face off from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Then from 8 to 9:30 p.m., the 12 council candidates will be presented.
Candidates for the school board of the Garden Grove Unified School District will appear at a similar forum scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Oct. 20, also at the Community Meeting Center.
