Kieffer’s Sack Preserves Tie for Littlerock

BARSTOW — Littlerock High defensive tackle Mike Kieffer sacked Barstow quarterback Bryson Gardner on the last play of the game to preserve a 28-28 tie Friday in a nonleague game.

With 12 seconds left, Barstow opted to run a play from the Littlerock 27 instead of going for the field goal.

The Lobos rallied from a 28-point deficit to tie it on Bruce Johnson’s one-yard sneak.
