HUNTINGTON BEACH — Golden West College is urging new students or students returning after a one-semester absence or more to register now for the spring semester.
The community college is issuing applications for enrollment at its admissions and records office on campus, 15744 Golden West St. Applications may be picked up Mondays through Thursdays between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. and Fridays between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Late applicants risk long registration lines and closed classes, college officials said.
“We encourage new and re-entry students to apply for admission to the college early so that they get the best selection of available classes,” said John Breihan, administrative dean of admissions and records.
The spring semester at the college starts Jan. 17.
