Arcadia 28, Hoover 3--Hoover took an early lead but scored only once in a loss at Arcadia.
Hoover (3-5, 1-2) took a 3-0 lead in the first quarter when Marco Mesrobian kicked a 43-yard field goal. Arcadia held Hoover to only 41 yards. Hung Huynh gained 24 yards in six carries.
Arcadia (7-1, 2-1) was led by running back Jon Shepherd, who rushed for 171 yards and three touchdowns in 28 carries.
