Gerry House, a Santa Ana residential treatment facility for homeless substance abusers who have AIDS or the AIDS virus, raised about $7,500 from a comedy benefit Sunday night at the Irvine Improv starring Brian Regan. Precise figures won’t be available until later this week, said Robert Tait, administrator for Straight Talk, a nonprofit mental health agency that operates Gerry House.
