Rockwell Names William Calise as Senior Vice President

William J. Calise Jr., 56, has been appointed senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of Rockwell International Corp. He succeeds Charles H. Harff, 65, who said he will retire from the Seal Beach-based diversified high-technology company late next year. Harff will continue until that time as senior vice president and special counsel. Calise was previously a partner with the law firm of Chadbourne & Parke, and was a member of the firm’s management committee. In addition, John R. Stocker, 52, was appointed vice president-law and corporate officer. Stocker will report to Calise and will oversee legal matters affecting the firm’s aerospace and government businesses.
