Rudman to Lead Nasdaq Panel: Former Republican Sen. Warren Rudman will lead a panel reviewing the operations of the Nasdaq computerized stock exchange and its governing body, the National Assn. of Securities Dealers Inc. Rudman will lead a seven-member committee in reviewing the effectiveness of Nasdaq and NASD--the self-regulating body for Nasdaq. The Justice Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission earlier announced reviews of practices at the nation’s second-largest stock exchange.
