NEWPORT BEACH : 3 to Be Sworn In on City Council

New members of the City Council will be sworn in today during a ceremony in the City Council chambers.
The seven-member council will get three new members--Planning Commission Chairwoman Norma Glover, Planning Commissioner Thomas C. Edwards and former Newport Beach City Atty. Dennis D. O’Neil. Councilman John W. Hedges was also reelected for another term.
Outgoing Mayor Clarence J. Turner, Councilman Phil Sansone and Councilwoman Evelyn R. Hart will be recognized for their service.
