IRVINE — Pamela Bailey, 31, has been named curator of the UC Irvine Fine Arts Gallery, effective this week. She replaces Mara Lonner, who has left to teach at CalArts in Santa Clarita and to spend more time on her own art.
Bailey formerly was gallery coordinator of Works, a nonprofit institution in San Jose. Before that, she worked in the publications department of the J. Paul Getty Museum in Malibu, was administrative director of the Fellows of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and interned in the curatorial department of the Santa Monica Museum.
