Rumors Dog Turner, NBC: The subject of a possible partnership between Turner Broadcasting and NBC may come up at a regular board meeting Friday of General Electric Co., NBC’s parent. Ted Turner has been in discussions with NBC President Robert Wright regarding a possible merger with Turner Broadcasting. Turner has long coveted a network, but he cannot afford an all-cash deal.
