Jesus Diaz scored a goal at the 54-minute mark to help visiting Burroughs High to a 1-1 tie with crosstown rival Burbank in a Foothill League soccer match Thursday.
Rigo Inigrez’s goal gave Burbank (6-6-3, 0-2-2) a 1-0 lead five minutes into the second half, but Diaz countered nine minutes later.
Burroughs (10-3-3, 3-0-1), the No. 3-ranked team in the Southern Section Division II poll, is unbeaten in its last seven matches.
The Indians are 4-0-3 during that stretch.

Ronald Mondragon, Marvin Quijano and Juan Guadron also scored for the Regents (14-2-3, 6-0-2).
Canoga Park is 1-5-2 in conference play.
Montclair Prep 8, Viewpoint 1--Center-halfback Errol Feldman scored three goals for visiting Montclair Prep in the nonleague match. David Warsawsky added a pair to push his team-high total to 14. Josh Glaser had seven saves for the Mounties (5-4).
Viewpoint is 2-5-2.
