Quinn, the daughter of former Saddleback High boys’ Coach Pat Quinn, spent much of last season slowed by an a knee injury but was still able to contribute. Her basket off a rebound as time ran out gave Golden West a 65-64 victory over Butte in a State tournament semifinal. This season, Quinn’s knee is much better and she has started for the Rustlers. Quinn was eight of 11 from the field and had 20 points, six rebounds and three assists as Golden West beat Orange Coast, 82-65.
