ANAHEIM : Woman Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver

A 42-year-old woman was struck and killed Tuesday night in a hit-and-run accident on Lincoln Avenue, police said.
Rose Flores of Anaheim was crossing Lincoln Avenue near Stinson Street about 9:30 p.m. when an eastbound truck struck her, Police Investigator Chuck O’Connor said.
Flores was found unconscious in the eastbound lane of Lincoln Avenue, lying close to the T-intersection. She died at the scene, O’Connor said.
The driver fled in a light-colored stake-bed truck and was last seen making a right turn at Magnolia Avenue. Witnesses said the driver had not been speeding, O’Connor said.
