T.G. Shown Associates: The Laguna Hills cargo services firm has chosen Kevin McCarten as president and chief operating officer. McCarten, who has been with the firm since its incorporation in 1983, had previously served as vice president and was acting president for the second half of 1994. He succeeds Ted Shown, who continues as chairman and chief executive. In addition, Anthony Mucera was appointed vice president with responsibility for the Eastern and Midwestern United States.
