Wagon Wheel Plaza, an Oxnard retail complex that formerly housed a Builders Square hardware store, is being offered for sale.
The asking price for the 11-acre property is just under $7 million, according to the listing broker, Neil B. Nadler of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services in Camarillo.
The Builders Square unit closed its doors three years ago when its owner, K mart, decided to withdraw the chain from the California market. Unless the site is subleased, K mart will continue paying rent on the 90,000-square-foot vacant store until 2009, Nadler says.
Wagon Wheel Plaza, with 144,000 square feet of space, is at Oxnard Boulevard and the Ventura Freeway. Its present owner is the Charles Co. of Beverly Hills.
