Westchester 78, Jordan 59--Ben Sanders scored 13 of his 20 points in the second half to lead the Comets to a City 4-A first-round victory. Guard Danny Walker, who made only three of nine three-point shots, added 19 points.
A jump shot by Clem Breedlove brought Jordan to within 41-38 late in the third quarter, but the Bulldogs got no closer. Although Breedlove had a game-high 23 points, he made only seven of 31 shots. Termell Goss chipped in 19 points for Jordan.
