Self-Help Document Firm Opens Thousand Oaks Unit

We The People, a Santa Barbara-based self-help legal document firm, has opened an office in Thousand Oaks.
The company, which also has a branch in Santa Maria, says it makes information available to help customers reach “their own decisions in uncontested legal matters.” The company provides forms for use in such matters as divorce, restraining orders, bankruptcy, living trusts, wills and incorporations.
Linda Distenfield, the company’s president, said her staff helps customers complete documents to be filed in court.
