2 Men Hold Up Women in Home

In what police are calling a rare “home invasion” robbery, two men posing as express deliverymen at gunpoint held up two women in their Simi Valley home Tuesday afternoon.
“I think the last one was four or five years ago,” Simi Valley Police Lt. Don Austin said. “It’s not something we experience in this city at all.”
Shortly before 2 p.m., the men posing as deliverymen approached the home in the 3400 block of Lockwood Court.
After one victim opened the front door, the men forced their way inside and one pulled a handgun.
Le Mui, 28, and Vi Vu, 40, were tied up while the men ransacked the house and then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry. Mui and Vu were not injured.
Austin said an investigation is continuing.
