“We’re disappointed that we didn’t get any guns,” said Sgt. Ron Good of the Anaheim Police Department Crime Task Force. “We’ll keep looking for them.”
The guns that had been stolen in February from a car parked by the El Dorado Inn on West Lincoln Avenue. They belonged to a licensed gun dealer living at the motel, police said.
Police who raided the 235-unit El Dorado on Wednesday arrested six people, mainly for drug-related offenses and parole violations.
Police raided the same motel in November in response to approximately 400 calls about trouble there in a 30-day period. That raid resulted in 25 arrests. One of those arrested was a homicide suspect and two were suspected of armed robbery.
