People with AIDS in Ventura County will benefit from more than $300,000 in federal money to be awarded to local agencies.
The Ventura County HIV Consortium will distribute the money to agencies that provide medical care and other support to Ventura County residents who have AIDS or the virus that causes it.
The money was made available by the 1990 Ryan White AIDS Emergency Act.
The deadline to apply for the grants is April 13.
Applications are available by calling the consortium at 389-5978.
