Voters Unswayed by a Planned Ad Blitz

* Have we of Thousand Oaks lowered ourselves to the type of politics where a bunch of “good old boys” with money are going to tell us how not to vote?
This is to be accomplished, according to Brian Collier, president of Citizens to Save Our City, by negative campaigning against any City Council candidate other than their handpicked Mike Markey.
It is an insult to the intelligence of the Thousand Oaks voter that this group thinks that we do not realize what a mockery they are making of campaign-spending limits with their planned advertising blitz.
Wake up, citizens of Thousand Oaks, and vote for the candidate (whomever that might be) who best represents your goals for the future of Thousand Oaks and not the desires of Citizens to Save Our City.
