NIT ROUNDUP : New Mexico St. Advances With Overtime Win

Rodney Walker scored 23 points, including three critical points in overtime, to send New Mexico State past Texas El Paso, 92-89, Monday night and into the National Invitation Tournament quarterfinals.
The Aggies (25-9) will face Virginia Tech (22-10) on Wednesday night.
Virginia Tech advanced earlier Monday by winning, 91-78, over Providence (17-13).
The victory gave New Mexico State a 2-1 advantage over the Miners (20-10) this season. The teams had split their home-and-home series in December.
It was their first meeting in the postseason.
OTHER GAMES
Craig Wise tipped in a miss at the last second to give Canisius a 55-53 victory over host Bradley (20-10). Canisius (20-12) will face Washington State (18-11), an 83-80 winner over host Illinois State (20-13). . . . Jerome Robinson scored 24 points as host South Florida was a 75-59 winner over Coppin State (21-10). The Bulls (18-11) advanced to the final eight to play Marquette (19-11), a 70-61 winner over St. Bonaventure (18-13).
