52-Week Treasury Bills Rates Fall: Interest rates on the one-year Treasury bills fell at auction to their lowest level in more than five months. The average discount rate was 6.02%, down from 6.16% at the last auction on March 2. It was the lowest rate since 52-week bills averaged 5.72% on Oct. 13. The bills will carry an equivalent coupon interest rate of 6.41% with each $10,000 in face value selling for $9,391.30. Sales totaled $17.27 billion out of bids of $42.74 billion.
