BRIEFLY : Education: College Opens New Building for Older Students

Santa Monica College’s Emeritus College for older adults marked the opening of a new building with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday.
The 5,000-square-foot facility, formerly located on the Third Street Promenade, is now at 1433 2nd St. Furnished and equipped through private donations, it houses an office and five classrooms, including an exercise room with a wooden dance floor.
