TERROR IN OKLAHOMA CITY : $4 Million in Gifts Aids Red Cross in Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY — The American Red Cross said Monday that more than $4 million in donations has been received to assist in the organization’s operations in Oklahoma City.
The agency said the amount “will meet the needs of this disaster operation.”
Since disaster operations began after Wednesday’s truck bombing at the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, 25,002 meals have been served to victims, family members and relief staff.
More than 2,000 Red Cross volunteers have been assisting with relief efforts.
