Unwanted Addition to Public Payroll

In an era where electors are telling the politicians that enough is not acceptable anymore--term limits for example--City Hall has to be run the way the people want it, not the way career politicians want to run the show.
And then 7,900 voters cast their ballots for Barbara Yaroslavsky. Did any of these voters realize they would be putting two members of the same family on the public payroll? It’s bad enough to have to pay the salary of the ultimate career politician, but to add another is unthinkable.
