REGION : Household Waste Collection Scheduled

The Los Angeles County Public Works Department will collect motor oil, paint products, cleaners, pesticides, herbicides, vehicle batteries and other household waste from southeast Los Angeles County residents on Saturday.
The collection will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Rockwell International, 12214 Lakewood Blvd., Downey. Entry is through the Space Systems Division at Stewart and Gray roads.
Explosives, ammunition or radioactive materials will not be accepted. There is a limit of five gallons or 50 pounds of waste per vehicle.
