County Teams Will Play Host to Softball Playoffs

Rancho Santiago and Cypress will be the sites of Southern California softball playoffs Friday and Saturday.
Rancho Santiago (29-10), the third-seeded team, plays No. 14 Pasadena (16-17) at noon and No. 11 Mt. San Antonio (16-11) plays No. 6 Antelope Valley (30-12) at 2 p.m also at Rancho Santiago.
Cypress (44-8) plays host to College of the Desert (19-13) at noon and Hancock (33-15) plays Saddleback (22-14) at 2 p.m. also at Cypress.
Fullerton (27-11), the eighth-seeded team, meets Southwestern (22-10) at 2 p.m. Friday at Long Beach.
The double-elimination playoffs conclude Saturday.
