HUNTINGTON BEACH : Disc Golf Tournament Entry Deadline Nears

Thursday is the deadline to sign up for the city’s 1995 Disc Golf Championship Tournaments, set for June 3 and 4 at Huntington Central Park.
The tournaments are sponsored by the Community Services Department in cooperation with the Huntington Beach High Flyers Disc Golf Club.
In disc golf, Frisbee-like discs are thrown into “disc pole holes,” or chain baskets. As in golf, the disc golfer with the lowest score, or fewest tosses, wins the game.
Applications are being accepted through 4 p.m. Thursday at the Community Services Department, City Hall, 2000 Main St.
