BRIEFLY : Award: ‘The Miser’ Wins Scenic Design Honor

Patty Briles, a Santa Monica College student, has won the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival award for her scenic design in the college’s production of “The Miser.”
Briles, who competed with students from throughout the nation, is the first Santa Monica College student to receive the top honor.
