Public Servants Do Make a Contribution

The writer of the letter to the editor of April 30 on Barbara Yaroslavsky’s candidacy for City Council while her husband is a county supervisor makes it appear that government officials are non-contributing and on the public dole.

Doesn’t he understand that there are many couples in public service, each of whom is making a contribution to our government?

The voters should feel privileged to have such a dedicated candidate as Barbara Yaroslavsky willing to serve our city.
