Flamemaster Corp. Posts Profit for 2nd Quarter

Flamemaster Corp., a chemicals manufacturer that makes sealants, adhesives and coatings for the aerospace industry, posted earnings of $41,241 during its second quarter ended March 31, compared to a net loss of $31,745 in the same quarter a year earlier.
The Sun Valley company also reported an increase in revenues for the quarter. It had sales of $824,848 compared to $633,637 during the same three-month period in the prior year, an increase of 30%.
For the fiscal year to date, Flamemaster had profits of $80,022, up from $68,668 the year before. Its revenues were down 3% for the sixth-month period, to $1.44 million from $1.49 million.
