Zappa News: Press reports, including a recent edition of the Vaults, suggesting that Frank Zappa’s catalogue was purchased for about $44 million are inaccurate, says the composer’s widow. “The sum, unlike Frank’s death, is greatly exaggerated,” said Gail Zappa. The actual price for the Zappa works has not been disclosed, although she noted it’s considerably less than the reported figure.
