Treasures of a Golden Friendship

A simple stroll with my elderly friend becomes an adventure. With natural instincts, he takes me into a world not generally seen by the casual observer. Together we probe the mysteries of small, dark crevices; trace the faded pattern of cat tracks; admire the diversities of fallen leaves. Without my friend, I would have never known such treasures. I value these moments of shared discoveries, for I know they are as meaningful as they are fleeting.
