Police Identify Body Found in Anaheim

Police identified the body found wrapped in a blanket early Sunday in a residential area as that of Stephen Johnson, 34, of Lakewood, police said.
Johnson’s body was found at 10 a.m. in the 8600 block of Running Springs Road near Weir Canyon Road in Anaheim.
“We do not believe he was killed at that location,” Police Sgt. Steve Rodig said. “We’re doing follow up. There’s no motive. We’re working backwards right now.”
Police would not say how Johnson was killed.
