REGION : Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Saturday

The Los Angeles Public Works Department will collect household waste from southeast Los Angeles County residents in Cudahy on Saturday.
Residents can drop off motor oil, paint products, cleaners, pesticides, herbicides, vehicle batteries and other materials not permitted during regular weekly trash collections.
The collection will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Clara Street Park, 4835 Clara St. There is a limit of five gallons or 50 pounds of waste per vehicle.
