An Inventive Opening

Inventure Place, the new home of the National Inventors Hall of Fame in Akron, Ohio, opens to the public at 11 a.m. today. The new attraction celebrates the American genius for invention with hands-on exhibits in which visitors can create their own laser light show or pilot a helicopter (simulated). Admission to Inventure Place and the Hall of Fame (221 S. Broadway) is $7.50. Information: (216) 762-4463.
