Casinos

One business opportunity that our county residents may be overlooking is gambling casinos. Las Vegas has proved that casinos have drastically improved state revenues and lowered state taxes for local residents. Additionally, the additional income that tourists’ dollars raise for the local economy cannot be understated. Each time a California resident or anyone else, for that matter, drops a chip on the tables in Las Vegas, that’s revenue lost to the state of California.
L.A. County is floundering, as is Orange County. The remaining counties are not doing that well. If we encourage this form of tourism, we would benefit much more than Las Vegas because California certainly has a lot more to offer than the strip.
