Nona Morelli’s II Inc.: The Irvine leisure and entertainment holding company has been chosen as one of four finalists to bid on remodeling the downtown Beirut Casino du Liban complex in Lebanon and to manage the casino operations. The casino has been a Beirut landmark since the 1960s, said Fred Luke, chief executive of Nona Morelli’s. Before gaming operations were halted by war in the mid-1970s, the casino and related facilities brought in about $90 million in revenue, Luke said.
