COSTA MESA : Council to Address Bankruptcy Recovery

A review of Orange County’s bankruptcy recovery and a discussion of the direction the county government should take are on the agenda for Monday’s City Council meeting.
Mayor Joe Erickson said the city is trying to take a leadership role and send a message to the county. The City Council, he said, feels that it should make a public pronouncement about its views and hopes that other cities will follow suit.
“We just felt it was time for a city to take a formal vote,” Erickson said.
