An alleged flasher stalking a Thousand Oaks apartment building was tracked down by a police patrol helicopter and arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure.
John Holcomb, 29, of Thousand Oaks remained in the Ventura County Jail on Sunday afternoon in lieu of $500 bail.
A resident of an apartment complex in the 800 block of St. Charles Drive called 911 around 11:45 p.m. Saturday to complain that a man was walking around the common areas of the complex, exposing himself to residents.
A Ventura County Sheriff’s Department helicopter responded. The helicopter crew located the suspect and used a spotlight to illuminate his location as other deputies approached on the ground.
He then reportedly fled on foot and was captured by Deputy Tim Cowgill moments later.
