THOUSAND OAKS : Freeway Jams Expected for 2 More Months
- Share via

The backups are due to construction crews strengthening the overpass as part of a statewide seismic-retrofitting program, said California Department of Transportation spokesman Vincent Moreno.
Caltrans is scheduled to spend more than $1 billion to beef up about 2,000 overpasses and highway bridges across the state that might be susceptible to damage in a severe earthquake.
