The stereo equipment stolen from the St. Lawrence Rectory in Redondo Beach has been returned, but Huntington Park police are still looking for the owners of $120,000 worth of recovered loot.
Police serving a search warrant last week discovered a cache of stolen goods including saws, drills, air compressors, power tools, fax machines and home appliances.
Along with the goods, police said they found heroin, cocaine and guns at the home and business of Jesus Gonzalez, 55, of Los Angeles.
“He was selling heroin and cocaine and accepting stolen property in exchange for drugs,” said Huntington Park Police Officer Christopher Bonzer.
“‘We are in the business of seeing that this stuff gets back to its rightful owner,” said Bonzer.
If that might be you, contact Huntington Park police at (213) 584-6280.
