PGA Volunteer Work Well Worth the Price
I volunteered to work the PGA Championship probably for all the reasons that Mr. Ericson [Viewpoint, Aug. 5] put down in his “inflated price” theory with regards to the PGA tickets. Mr. Ericson did not appear to consider that included in the price is free parking for seven days and a beautiful uniform, including a hat that almost everyone can look good in.
We also got tickets to every daily event, with the opportunity to see a major golf event. Surely $140 is a bargain for that. For myself, I am proud and pleased to have paid the money to become a part of one of the greatest golfing events in Southern California history.
