The company said profits dropped 8% to $6.7 million, compared to $7.3 million during the second quarter in 1994. Sales increased nearly 10%, to $71.9 million, compared to $65.4 million during the same period last year.
For the six-month period, profits dropped 38% to $2.3 million, compared to $3.7 million in 1994. Sales increased almost 11% to $87.3 million, up from $78.7 million during the first six months of last year.
The company blamed the results on bad weather in most of its markets.
