CODE VIOLATIONS: City officials have confirmed that another Old Pasadena building is more than simply run-down.
City prosecutor Tracy Webb said Monday she intends to file criminal charges against George Gulyas, the owner of the Col-Fair building on the northeast corner of Fair Oaks Avenue and Colorado Boulevard, for maintenance and seismic safety violations.
“Enough is enough,” Webb said. “It’s a public safety hazard. It’s an eyesore in the middle of a prosperous community.”
Gulyas did not return telephone calls.
