Franklin Slows Clay and Wins

NORTH HOLLYWOOD — Dante Clay, who ran for 305 yards last week, was held to 79 yards in 12 carries by Franklin High, which beat North Hollywood, 28-10, in a nonleague game Friday night.
Oscar Canela had 101 yards and touchdown runs of 56 and five yards for Franklin. Canela caught a seven-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Alec Adame midway through the third quarter to give the Panthers (2-0) a 21-10 lead.
North Hollywood (0-1-1) scored in the second quarter on David Harlow’s 27-yard field goal and Clay’s 20-yard run.
