Mojave 12, L.A. Baptist 7--Kasey Young rushed for 96 yards and two touchdowns in 20 carries for Mojave at Alemany High.
Young ended a 15-play, 80-yard drive with an eight-yard run in the third quarter that put Mojave (1-1) ahead 12-0.
Chris Ross led L.A. Baptist (0-2) with 90 yards rushing in 12 carries.
The Knights’ lone score was a two-yard sneak by quarterback Robin Woo in the fourth quarter. John Wilson rushed for 70 yards in 13 carries for the Knights.
